Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using the LetzPet platform. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and LetzPet S.à r.l., a company registered in Luxembourg.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the LetzPet platform (letzpet.lu), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the platform. LetzPet reserves the right to update these terms at any time; continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
2. Platform Description
LetzPet is an online marketplace that connects pet owners ("Owners") with independent pet care providers ("Sitters"). LetzPet does not provide pet care services directly; Sitters are independent contractors, not employees of LetzPet. LetzPet is not responsible for the conduct of Sitters or Owners.
3. Account Registration
You must create an account to use certain features of the platform. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information as necessary. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.
4. Bookings and Payments
When an Owner submits a booking request, payment is collected and held securely. Funds are released to the Sitter after the service is confirmed as completed. Cancellation policies vary by Sitter and are displayed before booking confirmation. LetzPet charges a service fee on each transaction, displayed transparently during checkout.
5. Sitter Vetting
All Sitters undergo a manual application review and identity verification process. LetzPet makes reasonable efforts to verify sitter credentials but cannot guarantee the accuracy of user-submitted information. Owners are encouraged to review sitter profiles, ratings, and reviews before booking.
6. Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellation policies are set individually by Sitters and communicated before booking. In cases of sitter no-shows or confirmed service failures, Owners may be eligible for a full or partial refund at LetzPet's discretion. Refund requests must be submitted within 48 hours of the scheduled service.
7. Prohibited Conduct
You may not use LetzPet to engage in fraudulent, deceptive, or harmful activities. You may not circumvent the platform to arrange off-platform payments with Sitters. You may not post false reviews, impersonate other users, or violate any applicable laws. Violations may result in immediate account suspension.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, LetzPet shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including injury to pets, property damage, or loss of income. LetzPet's total liability to you shall not exceed the service fees paid in the three months preceding the claim.
9. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Luxembourg City, Luxembourg.
